Meet IgniteTheMind
Hello Reader,
Welcome! My screen name is IgniteTheMind. I am proud to say that I was born and raised in Rhode Island, but after the unexpected death of my father as a ‘tweener and a quick remarriage by my mother, my family moved to Illinois. Since arriving in this land of corn and soy, I have since completed six years with the U.S. Army National Guard, completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees (education and intercultural studies, respectively), married and become a father of my first, thus far, only child (a son). Now, I find myself with an open path before me. As for many of you, blogging is a way to share the journey along that path. Walk with me and enjoy!
